OBGYN Medical Assistant – The OBGYN Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support to clinicians and other health care team members to offer a variety of health care services to patients while delivering quality and customer focused health care to patients in a manner that reflects Kaiser Permanente’s mission, vision and values.  Other duties include utilizing standardized tools to identify and address health maintenance/care gaps with patient and alerts clinician on those that require his/her attention, alerting clinician on signs and symptoms requiring immediate attention and respond to directions per clinician, and providing patient with after-visit, follow-up, self-care or procedural instructions and/or educational materials as directed by clinician.

Coding Review Specialist – This role will perform targeted coding and documentation reviews, correct any deficiencies and prepare report on findings and recommendations, ensure that all reviews and audits are based on current federal regulatory requirements, current documentation and coding guidelines, as well as ensuring compliance with departmental/internal policies and other applicable laws and regulations.  Other responsibilities include identifying trends and patterns, collate audit results and analyze findings, identify root cause analysis, and identify system issues that may contribute to claims, coding, provider contracting and revenue cycle deficiencies.
